I like the fact that you are looking at these kooky religions. I am just as weirded out by the major established ones myself. Take the Old Testemant for example. When My mom told me I should go to church, I told her I'd been reading the bible. I told her I was going to get a T-Shirt made for my dad with words right out of the bible on it. Just after God found Eve offering up apples to Adam he came down and said that because she'd done this that foreveor more "The woman will serve the man and he will be her Master" The newer versions don't say it that way exectly, but that's because man makes religion and he changes it as he sees fit.
