Screwdriver Party

Not exactly as it sounds. See, my mother recently bought some new furniture for our hearth room. This particular type of furniture had to be assembled by hand, and required the use of various screwdrivers. Hence my dad coined the term 'screwdriver party.' There were three (sometimes four) attendance: Dad, Phil, myself, and occasionally Mom. It was kind of funny, seeing as this furtinure looked nice and was cheaper than other sets, to watch Dad and Phil fight with the various wooden boards and such required. After a bit, Phil looks and me and says, "You want to know why this stuff was cheaper?"

"Because it's cheap?" Right on! They eventually got all of the furniture together, so now the hearth room looks a bit better. You can actually have a place to set your coffee down.

Current Mood: Hungry

Random Useless Fact of the Day: It snowed again last night, so now there's snow sticking to everything but the roads. Thank God for plows.
